Ow. Ow. Ow.

I'm really out of shape, and upper body's never really been my strength. Really wore myself out playing Wii Sports Boxing, especially since I haven't figured out the nuances of the motion sensor responses, and I was frantically fighting against my first genuinely responsive computer opponent.

I gave up on Wii boxing when it became clear to me that it was nothing but random flailing. I have some friends who love that aspect of it, though, and its run to watch them swing wildly in their attempts to kill opponents who often look surprisingly like Jesus.

I'm sorry. You're sore from playing a video game? Excuse me for not overflowing with sympathy.

Did have to hold my arms higher, since my TV's on the wall. Thinking of taping the sensor to the bottom.

I'm not entirely convinced Wii Boxing is flailing just yet. Think I'll see the training modes. There might be actual method behind the madness, though I won't be holding my breath.

I read a FAQ at GameFAQs that purported to have figured it out and gave the ways you should move your arms to get certain punches. It didn't work for me, but you might want to try it out, as you seem far more tolerant of Wii boxing than me. I live for bowling and tennis.

Sorry that just cracked me up.

Honestly, I have to support games like these, despite their shortcomings, because kids are finally getting off of their asses and being somewhat physically active.

Tennis is dumb.

Also, Wii Tennis is dumb.

And Wii Golf is too finnicky.

I laughed when I read that, BD... Then I laughed at myself, as my own arm got tired last night holding a (fake) gun for a shooting game at the bar...

On the other hand, I found out that I'm still a pretty good shooter when mildly intoxicated!

Oddity: I write with my right hand, but I use my NES zapper in my left.

Sure Wii sports isn't the greatest with the whole sensor thing, but just wait, I think that in the future the developers will get it right and it will rule!
