I'm thinking about poking some trolls on their home turf to get a roast going on over here. I've done a few attempts over the last year, but they'd usually just do some hit and run. Any suggestions?

The problem with taking the battle to trolls' turf is that they can moderate your arguments out of existence. I regularly try to get woo merchants frothing mad, but on their sites they often make you have to sign up, which means creating a different e mail address so that you aren't hounded by tin foil hat wearing bufoons after taking it to the trolls.
However Winston Wu's world of woo, on the SCEPCOP website looks like a good place to hassle some trolls.
I'm more trying to lure them over here, where they can't moderate the discussion out of existence. I've done it with one woo blog where they do their scarecrow imitations of skeptics.
woo....er, sorry who would you try to lure over to your site to assail with rationality?
Woo merchant trolls have to be raving egomaniacs to take their "one true woo" to the "close minded skeptics". Most of the woo trolls are rational enough not to be savaged by skeptics on skeptic home ground. I was kind of hoping Winston Wu would be stupid enough to try to prove he was a "master debunker of close minded skeptics" by going mano a mano with Skeptico, but the little kernel of rationality in WW knows that he'd get his ass handed to him on a plate if he tried to go up against any rationally minded person.
That's certainly the tricky part. There are woos who have just enough humility to realize they're not as knowledgeable as they claim to be, and others cynical and prejudiced enough to think we're closed-minded before even giving us a chance.
Jamshed Moidu, a sycophantic woo merchant for Harun Yahya (Adnan Oktar) would be a troll to get into an argument with. His "DAWKIN DEFEATED BY HARUN YAHYAH" style of idiocy has me laughing. However getting this bufoon to come on this site might require some bait with Harun Yahyah bashing attached to it!

I might give Winston Woo a poke, sometime.

Sounds fun. Think I'll send out a few of these pokes on my Bday on the 6th.
And I think you'll have a nice commenting future here, Jack. :)
Commenting or not, Bronze Dog, I always enjoy perusing your blog.
Shadowjack:)
Who's that dude we used to roast @ God's 4 Suckers?
David H-something...
Haber, maybe? I might be thinking of someone else, though.
Whoever he was, he was the one that took pharyngula "to task" for saying that the bible is not inerrant when it comes to science.
Hibble?
Heddle!
I'm sure of it. Lemme check.
