Survey: Do I Need Leash Laws?

Just thought I'd see what you people think: Regulars may have noticed that I've gotten bolder over time, and not the least bit afraid to show an intolerance for objective evil. I'm also on something of a campaign to reclaim positive language to describe skeptics and I won't hold back about calling woos for what they are.

So, any thoughts about the less-restrained me?

I like how you write now. But then again, I've only discovered your blog quite recently so you can't go by me. :)

I've definitely noticed a difference, especially over in the JB thread at Skeptico. It was unsettling at first, but not unwelcome.

Yeah. I give him a bit more than usual, mostly in a side attempt to provoke him into realizing the depths of his hypocrisy and hubris.

I don't think he can. So far in that thread he's said, essentially:

"I'm more ignorant of you so I'm right,"

"You know too much so you're obviously wrong,"

"I know nothing about science and care to know nothing about science so I am a scientist,"

and too many other things ti ridiculous to mention. The guy's completely incurable. He's so convinced that he cannot possibly be wrong that he just sits around smugly dismissing any criticism.

After all, who needs methods when you can have assumptions?

Stay foamy! I like you that way!
I loves my angry bloggers, I do.

Stick with the rabid mode, it works for you, and more importantly I think it needs doing.

I think it's a move for the better. You're not in all-out PZ mode, I think, but more of a young Randi. It's a good route, not tolerating crap.

I started reading the blog just before Ryan left, so I've seen your full evolution. I like it! Angry bloggers are nice.

On an unrelated note: I *thought* that the under-the-fold stuff was from akusai's blog, but I can't find it within a reasonable amount of time (though I did get a lot of enjoyment browsing his old Geekery posts).

Could you linky?

The under-the-fold stuff? Do you just mean the script that allows the expandable posts?

BD, your foaminess is way more polite than some.

Not saying this is a bad thing at all. It's admirable. In fact, it's very readable.

I dig it.

Fuck 'em. You need toothbud transplants from a T-Rex and frickin' laser beams attached to your head.

Akusai: Yus. I'm quite comfortable with html/javascript/css/etc. hacking, but I'm not familiar with how a CMS like blogger mangles things, and don't have the inclination at the moment to mess with it when I know that someone else has already solved the problem for me.
