During Wafergate, there were a LOT of trolls complaining that we don't take on Muslims the way we do Christians. Of course, a lot of us have posted stuff about the silliness of their religion and the barbarism of some individual Muslims.
But I feel like doing something a little more recent, though not much is coming to mind. Any suggestions?

When I see a demand for some defilement of a koran, or at least a denunciation of Islam, all I can think is "Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees..."
U.S. college student steals magic cookie. U.S. Catholics make death threats, and demand student be expelled even after cookie is returned. U.S. college professor points out silliness, U.S. catholics demand professor be fired. Then U.S. Catholics demand professior denounce Islam.
I'm sure there's a Bibilical quote that's appropriate here... something about motes and beams and eyes...
Some folks just never did get those SAT analogies...
Catholocism:Cookiegate :: Islam:?
(hint: it's not Danish Cartoons, or Soldiers in GitMo flushing Korans)
If you guessed "Saudi Arabia/Taliban/Iranian religious police", you win a non-magical, non-Jesus cookie!
Extra Credit:
Islam: US soldiers defiling Koran (Gitmo, Sniper):: Christianity: ?
(hint: one of the U.S.'s major trading partners)
You may want to elaborate on your logic. Some of those analogies just don't seem to follow for me.
As for the step "U.S. Catholics demand professor denounce Islam," it's more like daring and expecting him to back out hypocritically.
The funny thing is, I did something just as offensive and yet ridiculous to Islam a while back: Stick-figure Mohammed.
There's gotta be a way to commit sacrilege against Islam and Catholicism at the same time...
Try using a consecrated host as a bookmark in the Qu'ran. That should get 'em both.

Name a wafer Mohammed and eat it.
