I heard rumors about a DS cart that had remakes of Mother 1, Earthbound, and Mother 3 on it in the US a year or two ago, but sadly they dried up. I love these games.
Just finished the game 30 minutes ago. Big Bad really dragged out the final stretch. I'm not so certain I'm going to be getting a good night's sleep, since parts were fairly creepy.
As for the DS cart, it was Mother 1 and 2, only in Japanese. Never heard of an English version.
Okay...The music combos. How on Earth do those work? Occasionally I can get them started, but it seems to be based more on luck than anything. I think my emulator (VBA) might be lagging. Either that or I'm just way confused.
Enemies have a 'heartbeat' you can hear when you put them to sleep.
Aside from that I can't really tell you. I've only gotten up to 4 or 5 hits. I might do better if I could close my eyes and follow the background music.

Hot damn. I was hoping someone would get this translated. Thanks for the heads up.
Only and hour in and already in love.
