Thinking about clearing out some clutter, but since I didn't get much demand for trade earlier, I'm thinking about just giving away some of that stuff. Of course, I won't turn away gifts from you to me.
Yeah. I kind of like 4E's level of customization, better. It's not as intricate as 3.x, but I like not having to deal with individual skill ranks, or deciding between basic types of bonuses. Just get the same level of enhancement for weapon/implement, armor, and neck slot and then you can spend your extra cash on something that lets you do cool stuff instead of simply being slightly more agile or lucky in how you dodge.
There's a few things there that interest me also - I'm currently running Pathfinder, which is sort of D & D 3.75. Still has a lot of the customization of 3.x, but less bookkeeping.

I really wouldn't mind some of those...It's just that I haven't had time to actually run or play in a game since Gen Con 2008.
Plus I figure that when I do get back around to some good old DnD, I will have upgraded to 4th Ed.

I agree on 4th ed from what I've read of it so far. They may have cribbed from WoW, but as far as I can tell, they cribbed all the good stuff.
Man, imagine the good a spam filter that just matches "nice story as for me" would do...
Anyway, I'm not sufficiently into dnd to want any books, so I guess this comment is just about spam.
