MST3K

As you know, I'm on Netflix. I've watched a few episodes of MST3K on streaming, but they're rather limited right now. Any suggestions for the DVD'd ones?

Some of my personal favorites: Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders, Invasion of the Neptune Men, Space Mutiny, and Hobgoblins.

I hear Manos: The Hands of Fate is amazing, though I haven't seen it myself owing to my being the only MST3K fan in my house. I do have Santa Claus Conquers the Martians on my queue, though, so I'll let you know how it was.

Seconding Hobgoblins. I can't recommend Manos unless you're really in for pain. It's an atrociously bad movie and while they bots do their best with it, they're really working off of limited material.

I really like their take on Hamlet - one of the most bleak and dull productions of the play I've ever seen - and the first Shorts video.

The Beginning of the End is worth watching just because it's one of the few Bert I. Gordon productions they ever took on, surprising considering the generally atrocious quality of his movies, and for the many, many Peter Graves jokes.
